//trace(now_date+" "+now_month+" "+now_year) //trace(then_date+" "+then_month+" "+then_year) 't_now' is the date today (though could be changed via the commented out bit after the declaration to another date if necessary) The bits you will probably want to change are 'then_date' and 'then_month', as this sets the date you want to check today against. The last 'if/else' bit with the traces is where you might want to put some action for the big day, or read out of the no. of days to go.
